| Discover the beauties of the Skadar Lake, the largest National park of Montenegro and the biggest lake of the Balkan Peninsula, known as one of the richest bird reserves in Europe with 264 bird species. After a two hour catamaran ride we reach Bar, then continue by coach to Virpazar in the Skadar Lake National Park. Enjoy a two hour boat cruise on the lake revealing the beauty and serenity of its landscape and some of the lake secrets. The lake area is rich in cultural and historical sites abounding in numerous churches, monasteries and picturesque old villages. Lunch and free time followed by coach ride to Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro built at the confluence of the Ribnica and Moraca River. A short orientational tour, time at leisure for shopping or exploring the city on your own walking down its shaded alleys. Return to Bar followed by catamaran ride to Dubrovnik. | |
