The tour starts with a Korčula city walk. Accompanied by professional local guide, you will enter a labyrinth of narrow streets, stone houses and gothic churches that have stood for centuries on this small peninsula. Enriched by Venetian tradesman, Korčula flourished as one of the most important cities of east Adriatic coast. You will make a visit to St. Mark's cathedral and its treasury, continuing the walk along the city walls, where once stood high towers. In addition you will be pointed the house of Marko Polo where famous traveler and explorer has been born. Free time for exploring or a coffee break is available for up to 30 min.

After the Korčula City tour you will board the mini-bus and continue your exploration of Korčula Island. The drive will take you through Adriatic flora including Olive Groves and vineyards, to a number of small villages. The first stop is the village of Smokvica, famous for Pošip wine and its wineries where you will be offered a wine-tasting. The island journey continues along the coast with its many secret coves. The final stop you will make in famous rural household Bire in Lumbarda. This hardworking family has lived for centuries from local produce such as olives, smoked ham, goat cheese, and Grk wine. Recently they opened a small presentation house (restaurant) where tourists can taste the Adriatic. A wine tasting and a snack is offered with the option of a farmer’s lunch*. Your trip back to the pier will be with dreamy memories of Adriatic sights and food.

PAYMENT INFORMATION

How to Make Your Reservation: After selecting your tour, simply click on SEND REQUEST button, and fill in the booking form, with as much details as possible. Please make your reservations as early as possible.

Payment Method: Once you are confirmed the availability of tour, we will send you pro forma invoice for deposit and final payment. Payments can be done in three ways: PAYPAL, credit card (VISA, AMEX,and Mastercard), or money transfer order to our bank account.

Deposit: The amount of deposit differs depending on the tour, but is usually 30% of the total amount adn is due from 7 to 14 days after the reservation. Upon receiving the deposit or credit card authorization form, you will be sent a depostit confirmation.

Final Payment: Final payment is usually due 45 days prior to the departure date. If reservations are made less than 45 days prior to departure, payment in full is required at the time of booking. If final payments are not received on time, Avansa Travel d.o.o. may cancel the reservation and invoke the cancellation fee.

Confirmation: Once we recieve the final payment in total ammount you will be sent the VOUCHER with booking details. Please print it and take it with you to present it to our travel representative at the airport.

Pricing: Prices are listed as a guide only. Exact price will be provided upon request. Price quoted is per person. The Avansa Travel reserves the right to adjust prices due to fluctuations in foreign exchange rates, imposed fuel surcharges, taxes, charges and levies imposed by any third party including government and its agencies. Should these change the price of your tour by more than 10% you may cancel without penalty within 7 days after we notify you of the increase.

Discounts: Price is sensitive to the number of people attending the tour. Meaning that if you increase the number of your mates on these trips, the price per person will decrease. So, for better price bring your friends along with you!,  

Cancellation, Changes and Refunds: If your cancellation in writing is received more than 45 days prior to departure, your deposit will be FULLY REFUNDED. For cancellations or changes thereafter, the following cancelation fees will apply:

In addition, no refunds are made for unused portions of a tour including but not limited to missed meals or sightseeing, motorcoach travel..

Refund claims: Any complaint about your tour should be made immediately to our travel representative.
All refund claims must be submitted to Avansa Travel in writing within 15 days of the completion of the tour.

IMPORTANT:

Booking is considered to be finalized upon recipient of confirmation from Avansa Travel ltd.

NOTES:

This tour can be easily modified according to your wishes and needs.

Not all cafés or restaurants accept Euros and it is therefore advisable to carry local currency (Kuna).

Comfortable footwear recommended. Sun glasses and sun screen are suggested.
