DAY 1 Sunday Arrival
Transfer to Hotel Odisej in Pomena, in the Mljet National Park. Info meeting.
Dinner and overnight in Pomena.

DAY 2 Monday Hiking to Montokuc and Polače
A morning hike starts after breakfast. A walk along the lakes and up to Montokuc hilltop, the highest peak in the National Park, affords a breathtaking view of the Mljet Lakes and the islet of St. Mary. After short break, the path leads to the ancient port of Polače. Sheltered by tiny islets, Polače is the home to early Christian Basilica and Old Roman palace dating from 2nd century. An hour walk back to the hotel.

DAY 3 Tuesday Biking in the National Park and Boat Ride to St. Mary’s Islet
A moderate bike ride through the village of Goveđari, an easy ride to the village of Pristanište from where we continue our pleasant ride along the famous Mljet Lakes to the fishing village of Soline. A pathway covered with pine forest leads to the Little Bridge, a narrow sea passage that connects two lakes. Boat ride to the islet of St. Mary to visit its magnificent Benedictine Monastery founded here in 12th century, built on the foundation of the fortified structure dating back more than 2,000 years. This secluded monastery was home and inspiration to many famous Benedictine writers and scientists.

DAY 4 Wednesday Odysseus` Cave and the Village of Babino Polje
Morning departure by boat, 2 hours ride along the southern Mljet coastline to Odysseus` cave. Ancient Greek poet, Homer, writes about this location in his most famous work - Odyssey. Uphill path passes near thousand years old olive groves. Visit to the church of St. Vlaho (St. Blaise) along the way. The olive oil production is centuries-old tradition on the island of Mljet. Visit to a 200 year-old olive oil mill is followed by lunch prepared in an authentic village tavern. After lunch, a minibus ride to the coastline walking trail leading, via Soline village, back to hotel.

DAY 5 Thursday Dubrovnik
Dubrovnik is renowned as an impeccable mediaeval city in Croatia. With its magnificent stone walls, churches, palaces and plazas, it is architecturally a living monument to the days when it was an affluent merchant state. Morning departure from hotel, return in the afternoon.

DAY 6 Friday Korita Village and Picnic on the Limuni Sandy Beach
Minibus transfer to the village of Korita - visit to the church of Our Lady of the Hill from 15th century,and St. Vitus Church. Drive to the village of Saplunara and its beach, followed by an easy walk to the secluded sandy beach of Limuni, for swim and picnic lunch. Return to hotel.

DAY 7 Saturday National Park Coastline Hiking Tour
Starting in Pomena, the trail leads over the hilltops separating the Mljet Lakes and open sea. Along the path, surprising birds eye view of limestone cliffs above the blue sea, hidden bays and coastline covered by thick forests. Return to hotel.
Farewell dinner and overnight in Pomena.

DAY 8 Sunday Departure
Breakfast followed by departure transfer from Hotel Odisej to Dubrovnik Airport.

PAYMENT INFORMATION

How to Make Your Reservation: After selecting your tour, simply click on SEND REQUEST button, and fill in the booking form, with as much details as possible. Please make your reservations as early as possible since many of our tours are completely filled 4 to 6 months before departure.

Payment Method: Once you are confirmed the availability of tour, we will send you pro forma invoice for deposit and final payment. Payments can be done in three ways: PAYPAL, credit card (VISA, AMEX,and Mastercard), or money transfer order to our bank account. 

Deposit: The amount of deposit differs depending on the tour, but is usually 30% of the total amount adn is due from 7 to 14 days after the reservation. Upon receiving the deposit or credit card authorization form, you will be sent a depostit confirmation.

Final Payment: Final payment is usually due 45 days prior to the departure date. If reservations are made less than 45 days prior to departure, payment in full is required at the time of booking. If final payments are not received on time, Avansa Travel d.o.o. may cancel the reservation and invoke the cancellation fee.

Confirmation: Once we recieve the final payment in total ammount you will be sent the VOUCHER with booking details. Please print it and take it with you to present it to our travel representative at the airport.

Pricing: Price quoted is per person based on double occupancy. The Operator reserves the right to adjust prices due to fluctuations in foreign exchange rates, imposed fuel surcharges, taxes, charges and levies imposed by any third party including government and its agencies. Should these change the price of your tour by more than 10% you may cancel without penalty within 7 days after we notify you of the increase.

Cancellation, Changes and Refunds: If your cancellation in writing is received more than 45 days prior to departure, your deposit will be FULLY REFUNDED. For cancellations or changes thereafter, the following cancelation fees will apply:

In addition, no refunds are made for unused portions of a tour including but not limited to missed meals or sightseeing, motorcoach travel and the non-use of hotel rooms.

Refund claims: Any complaint about your tour should be made immediately to the tour director.
All refund claims must be submitted to Avansa Travel in writing within 15 days of the completion of the tour.


IMPORTANT:

Booking is considered to be finalized upon recipient of confirmation from Avansa Travel ltd.

You MUST provide us with passport details and ensure you have valid travel documents (passport obligatory and visa if required). All visa requirements are the sole responsibility of the traveler. Requirements may change and you must check the up-to-date position in good time before departure. It is your responsibility to ensure you are in possession of all necessary travel and health documents before departure. All costs incurred in obtaining such documentation must be paid by you. We cannot accept liability if you are refused entry on to any transport or into any country due to failure on your part to carry correct documentation. If failure to have any necessary travel or other documents results in fines, surcharges or other financial penalty being imposed on us, you will be responsible for reimbursing us accordingly.


Comfortable footwear, backpack, swimsuit, a bottle of water, sun glasses, sun hat and sun block. During some days a light wind jacket as well.
Please note, the most pleasant periods for walking are April, May, September and October. In July and August, due to high temperatures, you may spend more time in the sea than on the path, however the sea is never far away.
