The promenade from Kupari and Srebreno continues further to Mlini (2km). This lively tourist resort obtained it's name from the ancient mills (Mlin), which operated on the sources now used for a small power station. At the mouth of the brook, which descends over waterfalls into the sea, crossed by a small bridge and under large plane trees, stands, on one side, the hotel, while on the other side is the church of st.Ilar (15th century) which was renovated in the 17th century. A legend exists in connection with the cult of St.Ilar about the dragon Boas, which lived in the Šimun cave near Cavtat, he devoured and chased people and animals until the hermit Ilar captured him and taking him across the sea to Mlini burnt him, and on the site of the pyre the church was erected.

Traffic over the Adriatic Highway is very frequent and several bus lines pass daily throughout the year. The distance to Dubrovnik is only 10km. Mlini also has a small port with breakwater.
