You’ll dock in historic towns like Hvar and Korčula, wander the streets of UNESCO protected Split and Dubrovnik, but also see Croatia’s intact nature at Mljet Island, and hidden gem Vis with famous Biševo Island Blue Cave.
SUPERIOR CRUISE Itinerary
DAY 1 | Split boarding
The beautiful small luxury cruise ship Sea Swallow will be docked in Split harbour where you can board during the entire day. After checking in you can relax in your cosy cabin and get to know your new home.
You can also leave your luggage and take your time to explore Split. We’ll do a guided walking tour in a week.
Join us for a welcome meeting at 7 p.m. Our Cruise director will introduce you to the Captain, crew and of course your future fellow passengers with whom you will spend a week on board. Therefore, prepare yourself for an evening full of fun while enjoying a delicious Mediterranean full-course dinner. Overnight in Split
DAY 2 | Split | Bol | Hvar
Today, explore two hotspots of the Croatian Adriatic. First, visit the town of Bol on Brač Island and the Golden Horn (Zlatni Rat) beach. Known for changing its shape with the wind, this stunning strip of sand is perhaps one of the most recognized brochure images in Croatia. Enjoy a refreshing dip or explore the lovely town. Lunch will be served on board as you cruise over to the trendy town of Hvar on Hvar Island.
Stroll around to admire the splendid Venetian facades, glistening stone alleys and the happening boardwalk, while your guide introduces you to the past and present of this lovely town. Enjoy the evening on your own, and perhaps get a taste of Hvar’s raved-about nightlife. Overnight in Hvar town.
DAY 3 | Hvar | Mljet
As the morning sets in, leave Hvar and head out to – Mljet. Over your lunch on board, practice pronouncing the name of this island where Odysseus allegedly crashed. A place of myths and legends, the wondrously green western tip of Mljet is today a Croatan National Park. You will spend the rest of the day here.
We included the tickets to Mljet National Park where you can explore the two saltwater lakes, connected to the sea with a small channel. The lakes are dotted with a small islet and a 12th century Monastery of St. Mary on it. Immersed in the chirping of crickets, shuffling of leaves and salt-scented air, stroll around the lakes, swim or kayak before getting back on the boat. Captain’s dinner on board.
DAY 4 | Cruise to Dubrovnik City Walls
A sail along the Elaphite archipelago is a wonderful overture to an encounter with the mighty city walls of Dubrovnik. We will cruise along Dubrovnik City walls and fortifications and have lunch on board directly in front of the Historical centre where you will have chance to take unforgettable photo of breath-taking Dubrovnik. After relaxed time in front of the Dubrovnik city walls we will embark to small boat that will take us directly into old city harbour where English speaking guide will wait us and show us the most interesting sights of Dubrovnik.
Croatia’s most popular UNESCO site was once a Republic of its own, famed for an incredible diplomatic skill which kept it prospering between the Ottoman Empire and the Venetian Republic. Today, Dubrovnik is a popular movie set, having hosted productions like the HBO Game of Thrones, Star Wars and Robin Hood. Return scheduled coach transfer will be organize from Pile Gate to the Gruž harbour. Overnight in Dubrovnik.
DAY 5 | Dubrovnik | Elaphites | Korčula
After breakfast, head up the coast toward Korčula Island. Passing the Elaphite archipelago, stop for a refreshing dip before enjoying a lunch on board.
Korčula’s craggy shores are dotted with small seaside towns known for good looks, great food and fantastic wines.
Taking you inside the medieval walls of Korčula Old Town, your guide will tell you all about its fishbone street layout, the times it spent as a Venetian stronghold, the funky statues adorning the front of the St. Mark’s Cathedral and some of the finest stonework in Croatia!
Home of the great explorer Marco Polo, Korčula is a true gem to explore so enjoy the rest of the evening discovering its winding alleys on your own.
DAY 6 | Korčula | Vis
In the morning, cruise to the island of Vis. Enjoy a lunch on board and a refreshing dip stop before arriving to Vis in the afternoon.
The furthest-flung of Croatia’s inhabited islands, Vis has a delightful off-the-beaten-path charm to it. Due to its geographical position, it was an important Yugoslav military base and Tito’s stronghold and was thus closed off to the public for a better part of the 20th century, leaving its nature wondrously preserved.
Docking in the town of Vis, you will have the remainder of the day to yourself to swim, hike or explore ecological agriculture. As the day fades out, enjoy the romantic setting of the town’s stone facades sprinkled in twinkling lights of ship masts. Overnight in the town of Vis.
DAY 7 | Vis | Biševo Blue Cave | Split
With the mercy of the seas you will cruise over to the tiny island of Biševo. Its drawcard, the Blue Cave, bathes in translucent turquoise light which enters through a single crack in the cave’s rocky walls. This surreal phenomenon is concealed by a narrow entrance which can become inaccessible during high tides. If that happens, we can provide an alternative half-day tour of Vis Island with WWII RAF Airport, along with Komiža – a peculiarly beautiful town boasting the longest fishing tradition on East Adriatic.
In afternoon we continue our journey to Split, the second largest city in Croatia. With an English speaking guide, visit its historic core, the Diocletian’s Palace, and unveil the centuries off the town’s urbanity, over 1700 years old! After your city tour of Split, enjoy a farewell dinner on your own in one of many restaurants and cafes. Overnight in Split.
DAY 8 | Split departure
Enjoy your breakfast and disembark the ship by 9AM. Farewell might not be easy, but this cruise will definitely not be your last encounter with Croatia. With your memories, photos and contacts you will keep sailing with us for some more time!

DAY 4 | Korčula | Dubrovnik
After breakfast, sail along the green shores of Mljet island and past the enchanting Elaphite archipelago, stopping for a short swim. After a lunch on board, arrive to Dubrovnik where you will be warmly welcomed by your local guide. You’ll take a short panoramic ride before the walking tour of Dubrovnik Old Town. Embraced in a cloak of stone walls, its architecture couples medieval times with Renaissance grace and the splendor of Baroque.
Today, Dubrovnik is widely known as the set of the HBO Game of Thrones, Star Wars and Robin Hood, and a stroll through its alleys tells unique stories of both the past and the present. After the guided walk, discover Dubrovnik on your own, perhaps walk the City Walls or take the cable car to Mt. Srđ. Return to the hotel by scheduled transfer or on your own.
DAY 5 | Dubrovnik | Elaphites
You might not expect something to thrill you as much as Dubrovnik, but a cruise to Mljet by the shores of the Elaphiti islands is sure to do the trick. Stop for a swim somewhere along the cliffs of Kalamota, Šipan or Lopud, and savor a lunch on board before docking at Mljet island where Odysseus allegedly crashed. A place of myths and legends, the wondrously green western tip of Mljet is today a Croatan National Park. You will spend the rest of the day here.
You can enter Mljet National Park where you can explore the two saltwater lakes, connected to the sea with a small channel. The lakes are dotted with a small islet and a 12th century Monastery of St. Mary on it. Immersed in the chirping of crickets, shuffling of leaves and salt-scented air, stroll around the lakes, swim or kayak before getting back on the boat.
DAY 6 | Mljet | Makarska
The serenity of the green island bursts with lively summer vibes when you cruise over to the coast to visit the popular town of Makarska. The cruise from Mljet is beauty-packed, travelling along the shores of Croatia’s second largest peninsula Pelješac. Its karst slopes are covered in vineyards, soaking in the sun and the salty winds before becoming some of Croatia’s most renowned vintages. On the other side, the eastern shores of another wine-loving island, Hvar, are a remarkable site.
Arriving to Makarska, however, delivers quite a contrast! With stunningly long pebble beaches, happening cafes and bustling outdoor life, Makarska is often dubbed ‘the tourist spot of Croatia’. Enjoy its lively spirit and the essence of seaside living!
DAY 7 | Makarska | Pučišća | Split
From Makarska, head to Brač Island to find the town of Pučišća carved into the island’s shores like a fjord. As if they flocked down to the shore, white facades in Pučišća sit in stark contrast to the greenery of the surrounding hills. Their distinct Mediterranean-style architecture showcases the greatest pride of Brač – fine white stone, known to grace many important edifices around the world, including the Diocletian’s Palace in Split and the White House in Washington DC.
